Dieting...

So. I'm fat. I'm not quite ready to declare how fat to the vast accessibility of the internets but trust me, my weight at the moment is shocking.

I'm doing Lite n Easy, which mortifies me. I take the lunches out of the bag to take to work and do my best to conceal it. It just seems so serious! It's too close to acknowledging my weight problem is the real deal: I'm a full blown fatty.

And so far, I've not lost much weight. Have been on Lite n Easy for about 3 weeks. I keep slipping, I have to tighten it up! I am hungry a lot on the portion sizes and find it way too easy to reach the cookie jar at work. I have no one to blame but myself. Maybe this blog will keep me honest! Fingers crossed!

One thing I didn't factor into doing L n E is the massive convenience! It's so awesome to have everything done for me! I have a good hour back every night cos dinner is done!

The meals are surprisingly okay. They're pretty shit but for something that comes frozen, it's not as bad as I thought.

This is what I had tonight:

This is the label, which is a tiny bit deceiving...

This was the meal after it was heated.
It looks a lot worse than it tastes. The only thing is I have to add so much salt! All the meals are a tiny bit bland...I may not be the best judge though as I LOVE SALT.

Shellac

I got my nails done with Shellac with the colour Tropix. I'm less than impressed. This is the second time I've had it done, both at different places.
I was not impressed with this particular salon, which was located in Greenslopes in the Brisbane area.
Firstly, the first lady who started doing my nails did a good job, however after she put the base coat on and directed me towards the lamp, that was the last I saw of her. Each colour coat was done by the two other ladies, with the second finishing the top coat.
Secondly, the UV lamp they used was not the special CND lamp. I don't know if it's 100% necessary but the last place used on and the CND Shellac website states:

Substituting another lamp will result in insufficient cure, which reduces durability and length of wear. The UV output of the CND lamp is specifically calibrated to the system and Shellac formulas for proper cure.

Maybe they're just trying to make money but I would have preferred it.
Lastly, the salon used CND base and colour coat and then OPI Gelish top coat. Didn't like that they mixed the brands like that.
Overall, just not too happy. Plus I think its already lifting on one nail.
